Now available for the first time are three stunning portraits by Edward S. Curtis recreated as lush jacquard woven tapestries. Internationally known weaver, Sheila O’Hara, worked closely with a weaving mill in the United States to capture the essence of these beautiful photogravure prints. Explore the power and mystery of a lost American heritage.

These jacquard tapestries are proudly woven and hand finished in the USA with 100% natural cotton yarn. The subtle shadings in the Edward S. Curtis images are being conveyed through complex weave structures created by expert designers using advanced software and state-of-the-art looms. These tactile reproductions from The North American Indian Project are welcome artworks in any home or office.

Each tapestry is backed with black fabric with a wooden rod in the top hem pocket for hanging. There is a metal rod in the bottom hem pocket to weight it.
